God is so good… just saying!
It was a perfect day for a ride! And what a great time of fellowship, prayer and worship we had as well! God blessed us so much with His presence and orchestrated divine appointments along the way with people for us to bless and encourage and pray for! In Northam we had the privilege of praying with the pastor and a few of his people from the Bridgely Church of Christ and an amazing prophetic word was released by Ps Kerry from Hillside Church in Forrestfield whose forefathers had been a part of settling Northam. Amazing! We also took up our calling as the united body of Christ to declare the manifold wisdom of God to the heavenly realms over Northam and SHOUTED OUR PRAISES TO GOD! Thanks to all those who joined us in person and in spirit through your prayers! We are already looking forward to the next one in 2017!!!
PRAISE GOD with us…
Roseli attended our April meeting in Northbridge and requested prayer…“It was my first day as a Street Chaplain that night of April 2016 and I asked for prayer for me and the two teams that would be patrolling that night. We have to pray for peace to give support to people in the streets coming from night clubs. That night there was tremendous peace, with no incidents. God is good, yes, He is always good!!!

I had injured the muscle down my left side Tuesday midday carrying heavy bags into the house. The pain was quite severe whenever I turned to the right or the left and I was having to be very careful how I moved. During the HOPEWA meeting at Thornlie Church of Christ Wednesday evening, we had a time of total abandon praise of our God with such joy. I was so blessed as I praised but it wasn’t until later that I realised I was moving easily without pain. I continued helping the team pack up after the meeting and it was then I was positive that the pain had completely gone. It is 24 hours later and it is as though the muscle that felt like it had been torn or badly strained, had never been injured at all. All praise and glory to our wonderful God!
-Margaret Meakins, HOPEWA at Thornlie Church of Christ, March 2016
“We all loved it!! The presence of God was there and it was just absolutely wonderful!! Every prayer, every single word and every song was in the perfect timing and moment!! I actually woke up the following day still worshiping without even realising!! It was very very very good!!”
-Nino Llapi, HOPEWA at Thornlie Church of Christ, March 2016
It was such a great night spending time in His presence, and we all felt encouraged and strengthened from it. The Lord is doing great and mighty things through HOPE WA! Thanks for all your hard work and support. It was great to meet new people also and know that we aren’t alone!
– Ps Jared Kealley, Eastgate Church, Mt Helena
“HOPE WA offers a beautiful expression of praying as community through the meeting times and places that are organised. We have been blessed as a local church in opening our doors, and trust any would who will do the same. We were encouraged into prayer beyond ourselves. We were reminded of the special place of song in our worship. We were blessed in the focus on God, His will and His people. We learned to listen. We practiced patience and stillness before the Lord of Heaven.”
– Tim Burton, Dianella Church of the Nazarene
“We were blessed by the free worship, and it was a new connection for us with other churches. The set up of the church allowed people to connect to God in their own different way; people could praise, paint or worship God all at the same time. Thank you for the spirit of unity, and keep pressing on towards the mark. We were blessed because you came!”
– Ps Tim Serugga , Oasis Church, Wanneroo
“In response to our prayers for His ministry: I identify a “freedom” that I have encountered rarely in my time and an openness in people to receive the truth of God.”
– Brad, Wheatbelt Area Chaplain
“We were blessed to have HOPEWA at our church. It was great to worship the Lord together with brothers and sisters from Perth and to intercede together for the city. An added bonus was that towards the end of the evening we from St. Mary’s were specifically prayed for with love and great encouragement. Keep up the good ministry!”
– Jacob and Sabine Ng, St Mary’s Anglican Church, West Perth
“Thanks so much for coming up to Kalamunda, the feedback I have had since is great.”
– Ps Steve Hall, Kalamunda Church of Christ
“I have been both inspired and challenged as I have joined their prayer events and thrilled to have hosted one such evening at CHURCH ON THE RISE. I would encourage others to attend or host their prayer events which are centred around the Presence of God and to share in this discernible move of the Holy Spirit in our city in these days.”
– Alison Gilchrist, Bassendean Anglican Church
“Thanks for prayer last night. We were really strengthened in our faith, due to the Spirit led and Jesus centred leading. We also sense these prayer times are really God ordained and stand out and at a deeper level than other city wide prayer initiatives in the past. Be encouraged, you are in his will.”
“I just wanted to say a BIG “Thank You” again to the wonderful worship and prayer team at St. Mary’s yesterday evening! We in particular at St. Mary’s were very blessed and encouraged to be in this time of worship and prayer and also to be prayed for as a church (including the leadership). I believe it is the very significant part of a turning point of God’s grace at work and am so grateful that we had this uplifting time to look to Him. Also the harvest, I believe, is coming in. We had a wonderful worship and service this morning in the Upper Room (upstairs)… and a couple of people who are just on the way into the kingdom. Praise God.
We treasure the words released and continue to pray they become reality.”
– Sabine Ng, St Mary’s Anglican Church, West Perth
